Located in the SW corner of Arizona, Cibola National Wildlife Refuge is a must see for everyone and anyone. Consisting of 18,444 acres this beautiful hidden desert gem has something to see throughout the year. With the refuge headquarters located at 66600 Cibola Lake Road, Cibola, AZ 85328, we encourage you to stop by and check out the refuge.

About Us

Founded in 2018, as a non-profit organization, our purpose is to help assist the Cibola NWR and surrounding areas. With over 100+ members, we are able to expand our assistance through multiple projects that benefit all wildlife.

Our Projects

To assist with something starts with being a conservationist.

From planting to building, we do it all. Providing assistance is a key concept in being able to help both wildlife and the refuge.

Habitat Planting

Did you know that the refuge is in one of the major migrating flyways?

Every year, we are able to assist with planting various types of habitats such as planting Japanese Millet over in the Island Unit Moist Soil Ponds and wheat in various areas.

This provides habitat not only for the local and migrating wildlife, but also provides better opportunities for hunting.

We Build and Create

Did you know that fawns when they are first born are unable to jump over canals? With the lack of crossings, they can potentially get stuck swimming and possibly die. In helping to combat this problem, the refuge reached out to us, and we answered. We were able to build 7 deer crossings in Unit 1 that were strategically placed. These amazing creatures, as well as other wildlife have already started using these wildlife crossings.

Our help doesn't stop there! Bat Boxes and nesting boxes, are just a few other projects we have helped with too.

Wildlife

No matter what part of the refuge you decide to visit, there is always wildlife to be seen. With this in mind, we are always looking for different ways to help assist with all wildlife. Not only is this beneficial for the environment, but it helps to continue to bring awareness of what matters most.

Education

We love being able to assist the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge. What better way to help in addition is being able to help educate those that care and want to continue to further that help. That's why we believe in knowledge being power to help make positive change.

Visitor Experiences

We strive to assist in ways that help make long lasting Visitor experience memories. Being able to visit this refuge is a very rewarding experience. Not many people know about this hidden gem in the desert. A whole different kind of world of nature to explore. That is why we continue to find new ways to help assist in making your visit special. Through different projects like paving the parking lot, workdays, and cleanups, we hope to provide a special experience for everyone to enjoy.
